Andrzej Wróblewski
Andrzej Wróblewski (1927 - 1957) was one of Poland's most prominent artists in the early post World War II era. Both aesthetic and ideological elements fuse here into cold blue-green oil paintings with brutally deformed human figures. Among many others, a beautiful serie of Wróblewski's paintings is part of the following exhibition in Bruges: Luc Tuymans: A Vision of Central Europe. The Reality of the Lowest Rank. Definitely worth a day trip!

Zoe Beloff's Dreamland
If you want to know more about the forgotten history of Coney Island, make sure to visit Zoe Beloff's exhibition 'Dreamland: The Coney Island Amateur Psychoanalytic Society and its Circle, 1926-1972'. It's on view in KIOSK till November 28th. Pictures by Yana Foque.
My personal favorite is Beloff her new book/dream journal, 'The Adventures of a Dreamer by Albert Grass', an exciting series of comic strip-like graphic explorations.
