The images above are from the book Stonepaintings by Rúna Thorkelsdóttir. This one definitely stood on my wish list, but did not made it into my shopping bag when I left Boekie Woekie due to an already empty wallet. The book shows stones that were found lying on a beach at low tide, painted by the artist and then photographed before the high tide could wash the paintings off again.
